Soul Food 'Mont Morris' Hotel New York

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was amazing, being close to the metro made it really convenient for us to explore the city without being overwhelmed by the busy streets of central Manhattan. The staff was great, they even tidied up our room daily and promptly fulfilled our requests for a clothes iron and bag storage. The room itself was awesome, with a comfortable bed, spacious layout, and beautiful wooden floors. The hotel's cleanliness was great, and we loved the cozy and cute atmosphere created by the beautifully decorated Victorian house.

This hotel was an absolute gem! the location was fantastic, nestled on a quiet street in the heart of Harlem, right next to a beautiful park. It was such a treat to wake up to the peaceful surroundings. Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The attention to detail in the rooms was commendable, with very comfortable beds that ensured a restful night's sleep. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean, and the breakfast provided was a great start to the day.

Everything was perfect, couldn't have asked for more!

The room was really nice and was well-maintained and spacious. One specific situation that stood out was when we encountered a small issue with the door code. We had sent a WhatsApp message to obtain the code, as instructed, but unfortunately, it didn't go through. We then tried calling the provided phone numbers multiple times, but no one answered. Feeling a bit stressed, we decided to send a text message and finally received the code. Despite this slight inconvenience, we appreciated how the staff promptly resolved the issue and made us feel welcome. The location was also convenient, great to escape the bustle of downtown while still having access to nice bars and restaurants. the area felt safe throughout our stay. we had a wonderful experience at Soul Food and highly recommend it to others.

The room was enormous and very clean, with a massive bathroom. The staff, especially Georgia, were friendly and cute. The location was great, with easy access to the subway and bus routes. The area where the hotel is located was beautiful and up and coming, with lots of charming old buildings. The room had all the amenities I needed and was well-equipped.

I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the hotel and the area even more.

The guesthouse had beautiful, character-filled rooms with historic charm. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing clear check-in instructions. The location was convenient, with the subway just a 2-minute walk away, and there were great bars, restaurants, and coffee shops nearby. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with amenities such as a fridge and hairdryer.
